Bombas | The Greatest Sock Never Sold

Greatest Sock Never Sold

What if we told you there was a sock you couldn’t buy? You’ll never see it in a window. There’s no way to get it delivered by drone. And it won’t ever go on sale. That sock is real, and Bombas doesn’t sell it because they donate it to people in need instead. To date, they haven’t sold 10 million of these socks. That’s a big number.

You can admire this sturdy-looking yet fashionable pair of socks, but you can’t purchase it. The cozy foot warmers sit behind glass in a sleek, minimalist display, loom large on billboards and show up online next to a counter-intuitive “don’t buy now” button.
