Unstuff Gifts

the idea

Convince people to repress their mass-consumerist tendencies over the holidays and stop buying so much stuff? (Yes, we know we’re an ad agency.)

Qwertsichord

A Chrome app that tunes whatever you type into something musically delicious

REALITY

Everyone knows how to type. Most of us spend several mind-numbing hours a day typing out emails, spreadsheets, tweets, and updates on our keyboard, with impressive speed. Yet, few people can make music.

NEW POSSIBILITY

We harnessed the musical potential in all that tipping and tapping, and created Qwertsichord, a Google Chrome extension that turns your computer’s QWERTY keyboard into a musical instrument. Every letter, number and space is tuned and in-key, so every email, tweet and chat you type on the web is harvested for delicious harmonies. Give it a try below. You already know how to play.
